The Stony Brook ED Follow-Up Office is open daily from 7am to 5pm.
Leave a message at (631) 444-2397 or send email to SBUH_ED_Follow_up@stonybrookmedicine.edu for:
- Issues with prescriptions
- Questions about test results. Note that the Follow-Up Office will contact you for:
- any abnormal test results that become available after you leave
- any blood or urine culture results which necessitate a change in antibiotics
- To have your records faxed to your doctor
Note that you can also access your records through the Patient Portal. A printed copy of your lab results is also included in your discharge papers.
